New features
The following features have been added in this release of Studio for InDesign and InCopy:
- Support for Adobe 2024. Studio for InDesign, InCopy, and InDesign Server version 19 can be used with the following Adobe applications:
- InDesign 2024 version 19.3.0 or higher
- InCopy 2024 version 19.3.0 or higher
- InDesign Server 2024 version 19.1.0 or higher
- Properties can now be changed for multiple files in one action. When working on files, properties often need to be changed for multiple files such as setting them all to the same Status or routing them all to the same user or user group. In previous versions, making these changes needed to be done for each file separately. To make this process more efficient, properties for multiple files can now be changed in one action.
This can be done by selecting multiple files in the Studio panel that are all of the same type (such as all layouts or all articles), and are all part of the same Brand. When right-clicking one of the selected files and choosing Properties, the Properties dialog appears in which the properties can be changed for all selected files.
Note: To make properties appear in the Properties dialog in this scenario, make sure that they have the ‘multiple objects’ option selected in the Dialog Setup Maintenance page in Studio Server.
Properties that have different values appear as 'multiple values'.
For more information, see:
