Controlling the number of displayed jobs
The total number of jobs that are displayed on the page is controlled by the DBMAXQUERY setting, as defined in the configserver.php file (or preferably the config_overrule.php file).
Take note of the following behavior in the way the total number of jobs are displayed, depending on the version of Studio Server that is used:
- For Studio Server 10.52.0 or higher:
- The results are displayed in pages. The total number of available pages is displayed below the list, together with buttons to navigate between the pages.
- When the DBMAXQUERY setting is set to 0 (zero), a maximum of 50 jobs per page is shown. This is done because 0 by default means ‘show all’, which can lead to the list taking too long to load. A general maximum of 50 is therefore automatically used instead.
- For Studio Server 10.51.0 or lower:
- When many jobs have to be displayed, the list of jobs can take a long time to load, or not load at all.
- If more jobs exist than the number that is configured in the DBMAXQUERY setting, these jobs cannot be viewed.
Note: The DBMAXQUERY setting is also used for controlling other features, such as the number of files that are added to a Book when running the OpenIssueAsBook.jsx script, and controlling the maximum number of found files. Changing the DBMAXQUERY setting therefore affects these features as well.
