Automatically checking-out an article when placing it by using Studio for InDesign

When placing an article from the Studio panel onto the layout in InDesign, the default behavior is that it is automatically checked-in. To start working on the article, it needs to be checked-out first.

To change this behavior so that a placed article is automatically checked-out, enable the following option:

• File: WWSettings.xml file
• Name of option: CheckOutOnPlace
• Location: anywhere between the <Settings> </Settings> tags
• Example:

<SCEnt:CheckOutOnPlace/>
