Image formats supported in Xtendis 7

Documents that are stored in Xtendis are often images such as pages that have been scanned.

The following image formats are supported in Xtendis:

• TIF
• PNG
• JPG
• WebP (requires Xtendis version 7.2.9 or higher)
• HEIC (requires Xtendis version 7.2.10 or higher)

Troubleshooting

Issue: When trying to upload an image in a supported format, the file is not accepted and the following message appears:

Some files have been filtered out because they are not supported

Analysis: Before files in a certain format can be uploaded, the system needs to be configured to allow this.

Resolution: Contact your system administrator to have the file format that you are trying to upload added to the configuration of Xtendis.
