Regenerating the thumbnail and preview of a file in Assets

When a file is modified — for example by checking it in after editing it — the thumbnail and preview of that file are automatically updated.

If for some reason this process fails or you feel that the thumbnail or preview does not reflect that of the actual file, you can update them manually.

To do this, right-click the file and from the context menu choose Regenerate thumbnail.

Note: This command is only available in the context menu if you have been given permission to use it.
