Methods of selecting files in Assets

Various ways exist of selecting or de-selecting files in Assets, as explained in the following sections.

Selecting files

• Click a file
• Drag your mouse pointer over one or more files (also known as the 'lasso select method')

Adding files to the selection

• Hold Shift while:
• Using the lasso select method
• Using the Up, Down, Left, or Right arrow keys on the keyboard.
• Cmd + click (macOS) or Ctrl + click a file

Removing files from the selection

• Hold Shift while:
• Using the lasso select method
• Using the Up, Down, Left, or Right arrow keys on the keyboard.
• Cmd + click (macOS) or Ctrl + click a file
