Review the following information and implement when necessary.
Upgrading to Studio for InDesign 16.3.1 or higher
- Working with Element Labels. When upgrading from a previous version of Studio for InDesign in which a modified list of Element Labels is used, the configuration file in which this list is stored is automatically moved to a new location. Make sure therefore that this file is still in place until the installation of version 16.3.1 or higher is completed, or first make a copy of the file before uninstalling any older version and manually move it to the new location. For details about the old and new location, see Working with Element Labels in Studio for InDesign.
To upgrade an existing installation of Studio for InDesign and InCopy, simply run the installer for the new version. The old version does not need to be uninstalled first.
Follow the same steps as for a new installation.
After installation, Studio for InDesign and InCopy is ready for use. The About WoodWing window will show the new version.
