Why
Over the last year, WoodWing has invested in building Content Collaboration which streamlines the communication with new commenting capabilities. Recently we have launched the first part of Content Collaboration and introduced comments on files in Studio. As part of these developments the various commenting capabilities of Studio will be consolidated into Content Collaboration. The first step of this consolidation process is to mark the existing dossier and task notes as Feature Complete. This allows us to focus on the best experience for the end-users.
To learn more about Content Collaboration please see the release notes.
What is being marked as feature complete
- Notes on tasks and dossiers
Timeline
As of March 18th, we are FEATURE COMPLETE for Notes on Tasks and Dossiers
- We will not take on any new features or add functionality in this area.
- In case of a bug, the only bugs picked up must match the service definition of critical.
If you have any integrations dependent on the Notes functionality, please let us know how you are using the feature as soon as possible. It is a long-term goal to sunset the Notes feature, but not before giving people a viable alternative with the comments panel.
