Compatibility of macOS 26 (Tahoe) with WoodWing applications

This article lists the compatibility of macOS 26 (Tahoe) with WoodWing applications, thereby showing if a particular version of such an application can be installed or used on that operating system.

Tahoe and Adobe

When a major version of InDesign is released, the system requirements of Adobe do not include the latest macOS version. This macOS version is usually released in September and is not included in the general regression tests done by Adobe.

When InDesign 20.0 was launched, it did not include support on macOS 15 (Sequoia). The same happened with the launch of InDesign 21 (Adobe 2026). According to Adobe’s website, macOS 26 (Tahoe) is not yet supported for Adobe 2025 or Adobe 2026. Typically, in one of the early minor releases, Adobe will likely silently add support for the latest macOS. Somewhere in Q2 2026, we anticipate support for macOS 26 (Tahoe) to be added by Adobe.

Assets Agent

Assets Agent is compatible with macOS 26 (Tahoe).

Assets Server / Elvis Server

Running Assets Server or Elvis Server on a recent macOS is not supported.

Assets for InDesign

Assets for InDesign is not yet compatible with macOS 26 (Tahoe). We await an update from Adobe to release support for Tahoe in InDesign.

Studio Server / Enterprise Server

Running Studio Server or Enterprise Server on macOS is not supported.

Studio for InDesign and InCopy

Studio for InDesign, InCopy, and InDesign server are not yet compatible with macOS 26 (Tahoe). As further details are made available, updates will be posted to the Studio release calendar and our 'Upcoming' website.

Studio and the Studio Desktop app

Studio and the Studio Desktop app are compatible with macOS 26 (Tahoe).
