This article lists the compatibility of Apple silicons (such as M1, M2, and M3 silicons) with WoodWing applications, thereby showing if a particular version of such an application can be installed or used on that system.

About Rosetta

Rosetta enables a Mac with Apple silicon to use apps built for a Mac with an Intel processor

At present, Apple has made no mention of removing support for Rosetta. It is our expectation that when Rosetta is marked end-of-life by Apple, there will be a three year sunset policy on Apple’s side. As updates are made available, we will strive to keep our user base and partner network informed.

Assets

Assets is used in a web browser and is therefore fully compatible with Apple silicons.

Assets Agent

The following versions of Assets Agent are compatible with Apple silicons:

Assets Server / Elvis Server

Assets Server and Elvis Server are not compatible with Apple silicons.

Assets for InDesign

The following versions of Assets for InDesign are compatible with Apple silicons:

Studio Server / Enterprise Server

Running Studio Server on macOS is not supported.

Studio for InDesign and InCopy

The following versions of Studio for InDesign are compatible with Apple silicons:

Note: To use Studio for InDesign and InCopy, it needs to be installed in Adobe InDesign, InCopy, or InDesign Server. The operating systems on which Studio for InDesign and InCopy can be used is therefore determined by the operating systems on which the Adobe applications can be installed (see Adobe Help).
