Deleting an Edition in Studio Server

Within the Studio Server environment, Editions make it possible to create different instances of the same Issue.

Example: A newspaper may produce a North City edition and a South City edition printed on the same day. The two editions can share much of the same content, but some stories or advertisements may be unique to the North City edition or the South City edition.

This article describes how to delete an Edition in Studio Server.

Step 1. In Studio Server, access the Publication Channel Maintenance page in which the Edition needs to be deleted by doing the following:

Step 1a. In the Maintenance menu or on the Home page, click Brands.

A page showing all created Brands appears.

Step 1b. Click the name of the Brand of which the Edition is part.

The Brand Maintenance page appears.

Step 1c. Locate the Publication Channel options.

Step 1d. Click the name of the Publication Channel of which the Edition is part.

The Publication Channel Maintenance page appears.

Step 2. In the Editions section, click Delete for the Edition that needs to be deleted.

A message appears asking to confirm the action.

Step 3. Click OK.
