Methods of selecting files in Assets 10

Various ways exist of selecting or de-selecting files in Assets, as explained in the following sections.

Selecting files

• Single-click a file.
• Drag your mouse pointer over one or more files (also known as the 'lasso select method').

Adding files to a selection

• Hold Shift while:
• Using the lasso select method.
• Using the Up, Down, Left, or Right arrow keys on the keyboard.
• Cmd+click (macOS) or Ctrl+click (Windows) a file.

Removing files from a selection

• Hold Shift while:
• Using the lasso select method.
• Using the Up, Down, Left, or Right arrow keys on the keyboard.
• Cmd+click (macOS) or Ctrl+click (Windows) a file.
