Unable to log in after moving Enterprise Server to a different operating system

After moving Enterprise Server to a different operating system, users may find that they are no longer able to log in.

This is because the secure encryption algorithm that Enterprise uses is dependent on the operating system on which Enterprise is installed.

To resolve this, reset all the passwords to the default password by clearing the password fields using a database tool.
