Files that are uploaded to Swivle can be automatically tagged through artificial intelligence (AI). During this process, the content of the image is analyzed and relevant keywords are added to a metadata field.
This adds extra context to the image which increases the chance that the image appears in the search results when users search on those keywords.
Having this process done automatically during the upload can save an enormous amount of time compared to having to do this manually. Another advantage over a manual process is that manually adding keywords can introduce spelling or grammar mistakes or other inconsistencies.
By default, auto-tagging images in Swivle is turned off. It can be enabled in the Management Console.
Requirements
Using the auto-tagging feature requires an auto-tagging subscription.
How it works
Files that are uploaded are automatically tagged through artificial intelligence (AI). Per month, a maximum of 10,000 tags may be added.
When this maximum is reached, no tags are added until the first day of the next month.
This number is reset every first of the month shortly after 0:00 AM UTC.
Enabling auto-tagging
Step 1. Log in to Swivle as a system administrator, and access the Management Console.
Step 2. Access the Auto-tagging page by clicking Auto-tagging in the menu on the left.
Step 3. Click the Enable switch to enable the feature.
Step 4. Test the feature by uploading some images and checking the tags in the Metadata panel.
