Proposed deprecation of the AutocompleteProvider interface

Hi everyone,

We are currently reviewing support for the AutocompleteProvider interface within WoodWing Studio Server. This review does not affect any other extension points or integration mechanisms in the platform.

At this time, we are considering deprecating the AutocompleteProvider interface within the next twelve releases. This direction reflects how the interface is only used by two sample plug‑ins, along with our broader effort to streamline the code base and remove unused or legacy components.

If we move forward, the following items would be deprecated and later removed after the standard deprecation period:

• The AutocompleteProvider interface itself

• All related references in the code base

• The sample plug‑ins:

• Enterprise/Enterprise/sdk/plugins/AutocompleteProviderSample

• Enterprise/Enterprise/sdk/plugins/StandaloneAutocompleteSample

• The database tables smart_terms and smart_termentities, along with any references to these tables in other areas
