When writing articles, a lot of time can be spent on tasks such as making sure that the story contains the required numbered of words, changing the tone and style of the article, coming up with different titles, writing titles for search engine optimization, and so on.
These tasks are often repetitive and optionally done using (AI) tools outside of Studio.
The AI Assistant in the Digital editor of Studio aims to make this process more efficient by:
- Reducing repetitive editorial work
- Improving efficiency without sacrificing quality
- Keeping AI usage embedded, controlled, and review-based
- Ensuring human judgment remains central to publishing decisions
This article explains how the AI Assistant works and how it can be used.
Figure: The AI Assistant in Studio. Here, suggestions for new titles were generated.
How it works
The AI Assistant is made available as a separate panel that is part of the Digital editor.
Its features analyze the content of a Digital article and provide suggestions on how it can be improved.
In short, it can do the following:
- Lengthen the article by roughly doubling it
- Shorten the article by roughly halving it
- Revise the tone and style by making it:
- Formal
- Informal
- Positive
- Empathetic
- Serious
- Friendly
- Suggest new titles
- Suggest SEO titles
- Process prompts entered by users (requires Studio 11.213 or higher)
The results can be easily copied to the clipboard so that it can be used to replace the original text.
Note: For information about how Artificial Intelligence is used in Studio, see AI functionality in WoodWing Studio: transparency & security.
How all the features work in detail is described later in this article.
