Errors appear when accessing the phpMyAdmin page

Issue

When accessing the phpMyAdmin page, the following error can appear:

Forbidden - You don’t have permission to access /phpMyAdmin/index​.php on this server

Solution

To resolve this, make sure of the following:

• Sufficient access rights exist on the file system on the phpMyAdmin folder
• The Web server user (“www”) should at least have Read access. (An easy fix is to recursively apply Read access to “Other”.)
