Swivle Agent is an application with which files can be automatically opened from Swivle in their native application. After editing them in some way, they can the be saved back to Swivle.
Using Swivle with Swivle Agent makes it possible for you to work on your files without the hassle of managing the file itself. With Swivle Agent, Swivle can automatically open a file in its native application and detect when that file has been edited. This way, a new version can be seamlessly checked back in to Swivle.
Swivle Agent is available for Windows and macOSĀ and needs to be separately installed on your system. Once installed, it runs in the background while working with Swivle.
Note: Editing InDesign files is not done by using Swivle Agent but with a dedicated InDesign plug-in: Swivle for InDesign. For more information, see the articles about working with Swivle for InDesign.
