In Assets, users and user groups are managed through the WoodWing Identity Service (WIS) : a cloud-only service for WoodWing Cloud customers in which administrators can manage users and user groups in a central location and give these users access to one or more WoodWing products. Users can then log in to each product using only one account.
How it works
When on-boarding to Assets, one user is automatically added and made part of the Admins group to which the 'owner' role has been assigned. This user then has full access rights to fully set up the user environment in the WoodWing Identity Service.
Users and user groups are then either manually defined or they are imported by connecting the WoodWing Identity Service to an external identity service.
Access to an instance of Assets 10 (referred to as a tenant) is defined on group level.
These groups then appear in the Management Console of that instance of Assets so that further access to the features and functionality can be defined.
For details about setting up users and user groups, see the documentation for the WoodWing Identity Service:

Configuring user access in Assets
Once user groups have been set up in the WoodWing Identity Service, these groups then appear in the Management Console of Assets.
For each group it can then be defined what users in the group are allowed to do within Assets.
This is done by setting up Rules, metadata field permissions, and Download presets.
