About Categories in Studio Server

Within the Studio Server environment, a Category is used for defining a subdivision within a Brand.

Example: A newspaper could have different categories dealing with finance, sports, science, and so on.

Files that are added to a Brand (such as an article, layout, or image) are then assigned to one of the Categories to indicate to which part of the Brand the files belong.

Users can be granted or denied access to files that are part of a Category through the setup of Access Profiles.

Categories are defined on Brand level.
