Info: This feature requires Content Station 11.28 or higher.
When placing images in a Digital article (for example by dragging it onto a media component), the images could come from various locations: Enterprise, Elvis, the local system, and so on.
When working on an article for a publication which requires images to always be stored in Elvis (perhaps because additional processing is done in the background that is only performed on images that are stored in that location), the user should be prevented from placing images that are stored in locations other than Elvis.
This can be done by enabling the following feature on the Features page in the Management Console of Content Station:
- Images have to be stored in Elvis
Alternatively, it can be configured in a configuration file of Enterprise Server.
For more information, see Configuring Content Station Aurora.
When the option is enabled, users will be prevented from placing images that are not stored in Elvis. When they try to do so, a message will be shown to inform them about this.
