The installation steps consist of installing the Java SE Development kit (needed for running the Migration Tool), and installing the Migration Tool itself.
Installing the Java SE Development kit
Step 1. Install the Java SE Development Kit 8 in order to run the Migration tool.
Tip: Show me how to install Java on Linux

sudo yum install -y java-x-x.x-openjdk
Installing the Migration Tool
Step 1. Download the latest version from the Elvis software download page.
Step 2. Unzip the downloaded file somewhere on the system.
Note for Linux only: Place the Migration Tool in the main Elvis 6 Server folder, create a folder called 'logs' in that folder and set the ownership to 'elvissrv:elvissrv'. This makes sure that 'elvissrv' can access the Migration Tool and write log files for it.
