After installing Smart Connection for InDesign or InCopy, certain menu commands are missing or grayed-out.
Analysis
Some of the added Smart Connection functionality conflicts with existing InDesign and InCopy functionality. To resolve these conflicts, the menu commands listed below are modified. This is done during the installation of Smart Connection by moving specific plug-ins to a temporary folder.

Resolution
The menu commands can be restored again by uninstalling Smart Connection. During this process, the removed plug-ins are moved back after which all commands are available again.
