Content Station uses a default font for displaying text throughout the application. If you want to use a font that more matches your company house style or to better display characters of a particular language, use one of the following methods:
- Configure Content Station to use an installed font.
- Build an Adobe Flex application in SWF format that contains the font and configure Content Station to use the font from that application.
Using an installed font
Info: This feature requires Content Station version 9.5.0 or higher.
Step 1. Make sure that the font that is going to be used is installed on the same system on which Content Station is run.
Step 2. In the WWSettings.xml file, enable the following setting and link it to the font:
Mac OS X
- /Library/Application Support/WoodWing
Windows
- c:\ProgramData\WoodWing
Note: This folder is hidden by default. To display this folder, change the folder options. (See the Windows Help file.)
- Mac OS: Use Fontbook
- Windows: Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Fonts
<Setting name="Font" value="font name"/>
Important: Make sure to validate the WWSettings.xml file for correct content. See Validating the WWSettings.xml file.
Example: Here, the font named 'Comic Sans MS' is used:
