After switching to another application from InDesign or InCopy, panels are obscured by other panels

After switching to another application from InDesign or InCopy, panels are obscured by other panels

After switching to another application and returning to InDesign or InCopy, the panel that was last active is now hiding behind another panel. Depending on the size of the panels, the active panel may now be out of view.

Analysis

This happens on Mac OS (not on Windows) when using one of the following versions of Smart Connection:

  • Smart Connection 9 1
  • Smart Connection for Adobe CC
  • Smart Connection for Adobe CC 2014
  • Smart Connection for Adobe CC 2015

1 Smart Connection 9 has been renamed to 'Smart Connection for Adobe CC' since January 2015.

Resolution

The issue is currently being investigated. Unfortunately there is no solution available at the moment.
