Under certain circumstances, assets that are stored in Elvis may become 'broken'. Think of metadata that is not fully extracted or embedded, entries that exist in the index for assets that have been deleted, thumbnails and previews that are missing, and so on.
Such issues can be fixed by running the Asset Processing Tool in Elvis 6.
Using the Asset Processing Tool
Step 1. Access the Management Console.
Do one of the following:
- Access the following URL and log in using system administrator credentials (a 'Super user' account):
<Elvis Server URL>/console
- Access the Elvis Pro client by accessing the following URL, log in using system administrator credentials, and choose Management Console from the Avatar menu.
<Elvis Server URL>/app
Step 2. From the menu, choose Tools > Asset Processing Tool.

Step 3. Carefully read the instructions and select the options that you want to make use of.
Step 4. In the top right corner of the page, click Start processing.
Step 5. In the section What does it do? click the link admin status page.
The Elvis Server Status page appears.
Step 6. In the Processes section, verify that the updating process is running.

hello, the screenshot "Asset Processing Tool" is not updated (refers to Elvis version 6.34). Please tell me where and when you created the "auto created relation blacklist". I can't find any hints in the documentation on this topic.
best regards Albrecht
The relation blacklist functionality was once added in early days of Elvis to track recurring metadata used for relations and prevent them from being created automatically.
Current day it's never used as there is no functional need for this anymore, but the option remained on the Asset Processing Tool. The blacklist mentioned would be created in your tools folder and when using this option would be cleared from any data.
Thank you for asking your questions and pointing out the screenshots not being up to date.
