Running Studio Server on macOS is not supported.
Assets Server / Elvis Server
Studio Server 10.19 can be used with the following versions of Assets Server and Elvis Server:

Databases
Note: When the database and the Application Server run on different machines, Studio Server does not add extra restrictions to the operating system that runs the database. When both are running in the same box the choice of the operating system is limited, as specified for the Application Server.
Microsoft SQL
Note: To connect to Microsoft SQL Server, the Application Server must run on a Windows Server as well. This is because the database driver for Microsoft SQL Server is not maintained for MacOS and Linux.

Note: Do not install ionCube via the ionCube Web site. The correct version of ionCube to install is provided during the installation of Studio Server by an ionCube wizard.
